Person dies from H1N1 flu in Onondaga County

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) ? The Governor?s office says an Onondaga County resident has died from the H1N1 flu. The Onondaga County Health Department was holding a press conference on the situation late Wednesday morning.
?It is with deep sadness that we learn that New York has lost an Onondaga County resident to an illness related to the H1N1 influenza. On behalf of all New Yorkers, I extend my sincere condolences and prayers to his family and friends during their time of grief.
Health authorities in New York City say two more people there have been killed by swine flu. The NYC Health Department said both people who died were adults in their early and mid 40s.
City officials didn't release further details on where they lived or when they contracted the disease, citing patient privacy policies. At least seven people have been killed by the virus in the city.
