Case of meningitis confirmed in Lockport

The Lockport School District has confirmed that an individual affiliated with Charles Upson Elementary School was diagnosed with viral meningitis. The district would not confirm whether the individual was a student or a staff member.
Prior to receiving confirmation, Superintendent Michelle Bradley said the district sent out two versions of a letter to parents and staff members to inform them of the possibility of someone having viral meningitis. Once they got confirmation, Bradley said the district sent out a ?robocall? to all of the parents and staff members to let them know that the district had confirmed that someone had contracted the disease...
