The Suffolk County Department of Health Services (SCDHS) has been notified of a laboratory confirmed case of measles in an infant who arrived recently from overseas.

The child was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center emergency room in West Islip on Jan. 19 for evaluation and was released, and was then seen at HRHCare Martin Luther King Jr. Family Health Center in Wyandanch on Jan. 25...

-- Iroquois Travel Plaza between Thruway Exit 29 and Exit 29A, 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. May 11 or 12.

-- Hampton Inn, 4873 Lake Road, Brockport, 12 a.m. to 12 p.m. May 12.

-- Niagara Falls State Park, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. , May 12, including the Maid of the Mist.

-- Swagat Fine Indian Cuisine, 24 Buffalo Ave., 2 to 6 p.m. , May 12.

The times include a two-hour period after the individual left the locations...

The New York State Health Department says a tourist from India who visited the Iroquois Travel Plaza in Herkimer County has been confirmed to have the measles.

They say Anyone who visited the Travel Plaza located between Exit 29 in Canajoharie and Exit 29A in Little Falls between 8:30 p.m and 12:30 a.m from May 11th to May 12th, may have been exposed...

Hudson Headwaters patients may have been exposed to measles

ALBANY ? State health officials are warning that some Hudson Headwaters patients and others may have been exposed to the measles and should take precautions.

The state Department of Health said an employee of Hudson Headwaters has a confirmed case of measles.

The state listed a number of sites the person either worked at or visited during the period the disease was contagious.

They are:

The garden section of Home Depot, 3043 Route 50, Saratoga Springs, between noon and 2 p.m. June 5;
The Warrensburg Health Center, 3767 Main St., between 7:25 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 6;
Hudson Headwaters Health Network, 9 Carey Road, Queensbury, between 7 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. June 7;
Warrensburg Health Center, between 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. June 7;
Saratoga Stadium restaurant, 389 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, between 6:15 and 9:30 p.m. June 7; and
West Mountain Health Services, 161 Carey Road, Building 1, Queensbury...

EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. ? The Onondaga County Health Department says a county resident has been diagnosed with measles 13 days after an exposure to a measles case on a domestic flight, and is warning people who visited a local Wegmans that they may have been exposed.
The health department is asking people who visited the Wegmans at 4438 James Street, East Syracuse during the hours listed below to contact them at 315-435-5752:
  • July 7 (3:30 p.m. - 11 p.m.)
  • July 8 (9:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.)
  • July 10 (2:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.)...
