Nassau County health officials say a 9-month-old child who has been diagnosed with a case of measles may have exposed the public at Roosevelt Field Mall.

...The two time periods were Friday, May 6, from 4 p.m. to midnight, when the man was apparently in Winthrop's emergency room.
Then the next period was Saturday, May 7, to Monday, May 9, noon to 9 p.m., when he was admitted as a patient in the hospital's Hoag pavilion.
Doctors say there is a 7- to 12-day incubation period before measles takes hold and is untreatable...

ALBANY -- The state Department of Health confirmed Tuesday that an RPI student contracted measles, and may have exposed people in a number of places beyond the Troy campus.
Exposure might have occurred in patients or people who accompanied patients to either of the following hospital emergency departments at the times listed:
Samaritan Hospital Emergency Department, Troy, from 5 to 11 p.m. May 12 or 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. May 13.
Albany Medical Center Hospital Emergency Department, Albany, 8:40 p.m. May 13 until 6 a.m. May 14.
Exposure also could have occurred on the following times and dates:
RPI Campus, Troy, May 8-16
Uncle Sam's Health Food Store, Route 9, Latham, noon to 4 p.m. May 12.
Rite Aid Pharmacy, Burdett Avenue, Troy, 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. May 12...

The Nassau County Department of Health today announced that a case of measles has been confirmed in an adult who resides in Nassau County.
Residents may have been exposed to this individual with measles if they visited the following location(s) on the dates and times listed below:
* Crest Hollow Country Club, 8325 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury. Exposure: Sunday, May 22 from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.
* Factory/Office Building, 99 Second Avenue, Garden City Park. Exposure: Monday, May 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
* Factory/Office Building, 55 Denton Avenue, New Hyde Park. Exposure: Tuesday, May 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
* Garden City Medical Center, 520 Franklin Avenue, Garden City. Exposure: Tuesday, May 24 from 2 to 6 p.m.
* Office/Medical Building, 999 Franklin Avenue, Garden City. Exposure: Wednesday, May 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Monroe County warns of measles exposure May 25-27

The Monroe County Department of Public Health announced late Wednesday afternoon a possible case of measles. It is urging individuals who may have been exposed to the ill individual between May 25 and 27 to contact the department.
The department said in a news release that it had been told by the state Department of Health that an individual who likely had measles traveled to Rochester and could have exposed others.
Exposures could have occurred from:
-- 7:30 to 11 a.m. May 27 at the Marriott Hotel, 1890 W. Ridge Road.
