That's what I was searching for when I found the Nestle site. I found similar drinks, but not yet with the ingredients cited in the study.

Unilever funded the study and I am certain they did it to further their own profit margin. In another study posted here last week lactoferrin was tested and found valuable. In any case, we do know that certain vitamins and micronutrients are indisputably valuable for seniors. They are also valuable for children and adults. Modern diets appear to be lacking in the following list of vitamins: B (especially folate), C & E, selenium, zinc, and in some areas vitamin D. The danger is self-medicating with possibly disastrous results. Our FDA has guidelines for the minimum daily requirements but not the optimum daily requirements for people of all ages, and health situations. When you average nutritional amounts you get average results. The research done over the last 8 years clearly shows that at least one segment of the population would benefit from increasing vitamins and micronutrients. I also am convinced that lactoferrin is beneficial to those with a damaged immune system regardless of whether the damage was caused by illness or longevity. Even if we do not know all of the components of the formula, we do know that seniors would benefit immensely from the list mentioned above. So too would most of the rest of us.
