This is worrying if there is an H1N1 outbreak in the H5N1 regions, including H1N1 HCWs treating H5N1 patients, we have a wonderful environment for rampant reassortment and recombination.

Unlike many here, I don't see things as worrying at all, or of concern.

This virus remains on an evolutionary track which includes broad and easy transmission within all mammals.

Commentaries regarding the continuing evolutionary facts are interesting and confirming of my premise.

I have no anxiety over the virus' arrival. I have great misgivings over the failure of the first world governments and individuals to prepare for the obvious. I'm profoundly saddened that the first world infrastructure is at such high risk of regional and national implosion and that so little has been and is being done.

In the past, I calculated and posted that the pandemic will cost the world about 1/4 quadrillion dollars. I see no reason to change that estimate. No meaningful antigenic shift has occurred; no broadly distributed minor infection is present surrounding each virulent outbreak; and the virus has advanced to include lower temperature survivability including upper respiratory tract infectivity.

No, I don't worry about the advancing pandemic Phase 6. I only demand that those who are in political and economic positions act to protect others; nearly all have failed to do so. Scientists yet argue there is a low risk of pandemia. It is a higher risk by many multiples from last year and the year thereprior. Yet, they continue to argue based on historical scientific fact. Until science yields to visionary thinking, science will both assist and hobble severely the necessary steps towards vax production and distribution. I have little faith that the first world infrastructure can withstand the onslaught of this pandemic; they laying low of many in any sector within the complex chain of production and distribution of vax will result the in the failure of the entire effort. I lean towards that probability over one of efficient, effective production and delivery of the vax to any at all, including the HCW's and fire and safety, and the military.

Consistent with this position, I am now in the launch production stage of large scale manufacture of body bags, in service to the federal government, so that decency, compassion at the most ultimate of moments in familial life, may be afforded and honored.

Each of us has the opportunity to serve. Irrespective of the "madness" which may be seen through the eyes of those who doubt the power of natural evolution, this event is, imo, the signal event of each of our lives; it is a clarion call to do service. IMO, nothing less will suffice.

Should this pandemic remain as severe as it is evidencing itself in small clusters at present, and become human-flu efficient, money will be nearly irrelevant. It will be dear and it will be unattractive as people shift from trust to distrust.

Celebrations among the poor at the time of pandemic should be anticipated and accepted. Defoe observed this to be true. Humans are no different now than they were 400 years ago. Broad sweeps of death will be caused by those who see no recourse but to celebrate the brevity of their lives then probable. That will not be new news.

The response from WHO, which accompanies this incessant march by this human indefensible virus, continues to be abominable to all who reside in the first world.
