Monterrey N.L. Because the groups are at risk for having direct contact with infected patients, it is recommended that physicians and nurses to apply the vaccine against influenza A-H1N1, but this dose has been applied to only slightly more than eight thousand in this sector representing 75 percent of staff.

So I report the Secretary for Health, Jesus Zacarias Villarreal who said not all have accepted the vaccine.

Also this week mentioned that vaccination be extended to medical students, because in his years clinicians also treat these patients.

For pregnant women Villarreal Perez reported that only 856 thousand doses have been applied against that virus.

"The idea is to try to cover all pregnant women in the state, we have enough vaccine, there is a limitation in that sense, we are struggling a little against misinformation," he said. .

For the official statistics make go to the low response to the vaccination program launched in December last year and the correct application of filters where no school has required the closure of classes.

"The ultimate solution to a problem of this nature is vaccination, recall that the vaccine is safe, to date we have 460 thousand doses administered and the goal is 700 thousand at the beginning of April, and well, since we are at a good pace "said Perez Villarreal.

In addition to the vaccines given by the health sector, the Secretariat expects that by the end of April to secure a total of one million 500 thousand persons vaccinated by adding the work done jointly with the Mexican Social Security Institute and the ISSSTE.

The state health minister said that to date only one has suspected a possible case of Guillain-Barre syndrome in a person who was shot was given, but stated that this has not been confirmed by health authorities at federal.

"The onset of symptoms is the most useful epidemiological information to us, then tell us about the date of infection (...) has not completed by the disease warning, have said publicly maintain preventive measures," said the official.

"Unfortunately for people who have consulted has been complicated too late, on average seven days after onset of symptoms," said Villarreal Perez.
