The testing lab that handles all of Nova Scotia's COVID-19 results moved to round-the-clock operations Monday, on the same day the province identified 31 new cases of the virus.

That brings the provincial total of known cases to 293. Those known cases range in age from under 10 to older than 90.

Ten people are in hospital and 64 are listed as recovered...

HALIFAX -- The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nova Scotia has nearly doubled in a week.

Nova Scotia announced 32 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 342.

The Nova Scotia government announced the death Thursday. This is the second COVID-19 death in the province.

The woman was in her 90s and had underlying medical conditions. She died at the hospital in Sydney, N.S. on Wednesday...

HALIFAX -- There are 30 new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 579.

The QEII Health Sciences Centre's microbiology lab completed 1,065 tests on Wednesday.

The province says, as of Wednesday, seven licensed long-term care homes in Nova Scotia had confirmed cases of COVID-19. The cases involve 42 residents and 23 staff members at licensed facilities...

The fourth death connected to the novel coronavirus has been reported in Nova Scotia.

In a news release Friday, the province said a woman in her 80s in Cape Breton died as a result of complications related to COVID-19...

...The province announced 27 new cases on Friday, bringing the provincial total to 606.

Of the 27 new cases, 25 were identified in the central zone, while one was identified in eastern zone and one in the northen zone...
