SKOPJE (North Macedonia), April 10 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's health minister Venko Filipce said that 46 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the country as of Thursday, bringing the total tally to 663.

The number of deaths from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) stood at 30, whereas 37 patients have recovered from the infection so far, Filipce said in a Twitter post on Thursday.

North Macedonia's authorities expect the outbreak to peak at the end of April, when the number of coronavirus cases will likely reach 2,000 to 2,500, prime minister Oliver Spasovski said at a news conference streamed on the government's Youtube channel on Monday.

In mid-March, president Stevo Pendarovski declared a 30-day nationwide state of emergency over the coronavirus outbreak.
