First flu death reported in North Dakota

Officials from the North Dakota Department of Health say the flu killed one person in the state in late October. Health officials say it was an elderly person in the northeast part of the state.

A weekly flu report shows it happened between October 20 and 27. The flu season is shaping up to be far more serious this year as compared to last, with 101 cases reported across the state this week.
