Hospitalizations for ILI (Influenza-Like Illness) 10/11/09-10/17/09 - 613
New Flu Deaths 10/11/09-10/17/09 - 10
Total Flu Deaths Since 9/27/09 - 18

That is 18 deaths in 3 weeks, for a total of 29.

So North Carolina had 12 deaths up to September 26th.

Since September 27th: 18 deaths. (plus the 12)

In the past 6 days: 10 deaths. So 1/3 of all deaths occurred in the past week. I just commented that 1/3 of all hospitalizations were in the past 7 days for Michigan.
