 Influenza-like illness (ILI) decreased
this week.
 The geographic spread of flu was
LOCAL for week 15 ending
4/16/2016.
 Of the 32 samples submitted to the
State Laboratory of Public Health
(SLPH) for viral testing this week, 9
were positive for influenza A (H1N1),
5 were positive for influenza B, and 3
were positive for influenza A (H3).
 Hospital-based Public Health Epidemiologists (PHEs) reported 72 positive influenza results out of
595 samples tested during week 15 (ending 4/16/2016); 34 positive for influenza A(H1), 24 positive
for influenza B, 14 positive for influenza A(unknown), and 0 positive for influenza A(H3).

 The geographic spread of flu was
WIDESPREAD for the week ending

 Of the 25 samples submitted to the State
Laboratory of Public Health (SLPH) for
viral testing this week, 8 were positive for
influenza A (H1N1), 6 were positive for
influenza B, and a was positive for
influenza A (H3).
