I found it interesting that the %ILI in NC has been increasing over the past three weeks and at its highest level since Week 17.

Here are updated charts for North Carolina:

NC %ILI 2.jpg

The second chart is %ILI from sentinal providers and, as Farmer pointed out, it is not increasing. The first chart shows both %ILI for sentinal providers and emergency departments. The %ILI for emergency departments appears to be increasing. Sorry I neglected to post the link or the second chart.

The ILI chart has changed at the state website now - it now does not exceed 1%, nor is it increasing... ?

Re: North Carolina ILI% Increasing

I just thought that it was strange that the estimates changed. Maybe they posted provisional data? A little rewriting of history?

Who knows!

I missed that. The earlier chart clearly shows sentinal provider %ILI over 1%. The recent chart shows that same data point at less than 1%. Hmmm.

Wake Forest University just announced its first two confirmed cases of swine H1N1 with several other likely cases expected to be confirmed. Students received emails with details tonight.
