ILI activity reported from ED visits remained the same as the prior week. ILI activity (0.5%) reported from outpatient facilities slightly decreased during week ending November 26, 2011.

No flu-associated deaths have been reported since the end of last flu season.

None of the 15 samples submitted to the State Laboratory of Public Health (SLPH) for viral testing were positive for influenza during the past week.

Hospital-based Public Health Epidemiologists (PHEs) reported two positive influenza results for week ending 11/26/11.

The highest number of acute respiratory admissions was reported among patients age 25-64 and those 65 years and older for week 47 (ending 11/26/11).
