No confirmed cases of H1N1 in SA

The Institute for Communicable Diseases on Monday said there have been no confirmed swine flu cases reported in South Africa.
The second wave of the H1N1 virus was expected to hit South Africa during the winter season with foreigners from across the globe flocking to the country for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The Health Department has been administering the flu injection for all high-risk patients as a preventative measure since April.
The institute?s Frew Benson said as yet there have been no reported cases despite an influx of foreign tourists for the World Cup.
?I [seen] have a couple of influenza cases but none of them are H1N1 but we would still urge people who are diabetic or pregnant or have HIV/Aids to go to any public facility to be vaccinated,? he said.
