A case of tularemia was confirmed last week in a 65-year-old woman from Bernalillo County.
Officials with the New Mexico Department of Health said the confirmation came from the Department's Scientific Laboratory Division. The woman was hospitalized, but recovered and was released from the hospital...
Besides the human case, seven cases of tularemia were reported this year in pets, four dogs, and three cats from Santa Fe, Bernalillo and Los Alamos counties...
