A man who returned from Africa in recent weeks has been hospitalized in New Jersey as he is showing signs and symptoms of Ebola. Caution is also being taken regarding a Lakewood police officer and an unspecified number of emergency medical service officials who apparently were in contact with the man being hospitalized. The hospitalized man is reportedly from Neptune, NJ.

Officials say Ebola has been ruled out for a man who was hospitalized as a precaution in Lakewood, New Jersey.
A hazmat crew was called early Wednesday morning to the man's condo complex at Squankum Road and East Kennedy Boulevard.
Officials did not believe the man had Ebola, but he was taken to Monmouth Medical Center to be checked.
