Influenza Hospitalizations/Deaths

Influenza-associated hospitalizations are reported weekly from a subset of hospital facilities.
Facilities report patients hospitalized with either laboratory-confirmed (rapid, PCR, culture) influenza or patients admitted with influenza-like illness. Data from influenza-associated deaths are extracted from CDRSS. Only deaths with laboratory confirmed influenza are included in these statistics.
