Inmate's chicken pox leads to quarantine at Atlantic County Jail

Some inmates at the Atlantic County Justice are being quarantined after an inmate came down with chicken pox, the deputy warden said Wednesday.

An inmate suffered a rash with a fever and was taken to the hospital, Deputy Warden Geraldine Cohen said. When his test confirmed a case of chicken pox, the jail notified the county Health Department and took measures to avoid spreading the disease throughout the facility...
