Camden County reports confirmed case of measles, officials say

Officials in Camden County are warning of a potential measles exposure at two hospitals.

The county's health department has confirmed one case of the virus and is conducting an investigation and contact tracing.

Anyone who may have been exposed to this case could develop symptoms as late as Feb. 2, officials say.​

Where measles occurred

The Camden County resident who was exposed to the virus visited the following two healthcare facilities:

Cooper University Healthcare Pediatrics located at 6400 Main Street in Vorhees Township on Jan. 5 between 11:35 a.m. and 2:32 p.m.
The Emergency Department at Jefferson South Jersey Stratford Hospital located at 18 Laurel Road in Stratford on Jan. 8 between 8 p.m. and 12:38 a.m.

The person also went to a daycare center, but officials say that have already identified and notified anyone who may have been exposed.​..

Residents warned of potential measles exposure at central New Jersey hospital

PLAINSBORO TWP., New Jersey (WPVI) -- The New Jersey Health Department is warning residents of a potential measles exposure.

A resident of Somerset County who recently traveled internationally tested positive for the virus.

The person visited the Emergency Department at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro Twp. on Saturday, June 1.

If you were there between noon and 3:30 p.m., you may have been exposed to the virus.

No additional cases have been reported but you could develop symptoms as late as June 26 if you haven't been vaccinated.​..

TRENTON - A Monmouth County resident has been confirmed to have measles after recently returning from international travel, state health officials said Friday.

The case prompted officials to warn people to be aware of symptoms. As of Oct. 10, no additional cases had been identified, but potentially exposed residents could develop symptoms as late as Oct. 29, officials said.​..

...The Monmouth County case marks the third in New Jersey this year, health officials said...

...The locations where the resident who contracted the disease visited include:

Livoti's Old World Market, 200 Mounts Corner Drive, Freehold Township, on Sept. 30 between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

El Ranco Mexican Restaurant, 28 W. Main St., Freehold, on Oct. 1 between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The International Longshoreman Association strike, 1510 S. Bay Ave., Elizabeth, from Oct. 1 through Oct. 3, all day.

Atlantic Health Immediate Care, 479 Route 520, Suite A103, Marlboro, on Oct. 6, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Jersey Shore University Medical Center emergency department, 1945 Route 33, Neptune, on Oct. 7 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.​..
