Measles Exposure in Hudson County, 2017
Situational Update

The New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) is working with Jersey City Department of Health and Human Services to investigate a confirmed case of measles. This individual developed a rash illness on January 19th and had recent international travel. While infectious, the individual potentially exposed persons while visiting the following locations at the dates and times specified:
Individuals who might have been exposed are urged to contact their healthcare providers to discuss their exposure and risk of developing illness. Anyone who develops symptoms consistent with measles is urged to call their healthcare provider BEFORE going to the medical office or emergency room so that special arrangements can be made to minimize exposure in the healthcare setting.

- January 17, between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
