Increase in Dengue Cases in Nicaragua
Nicaragua faces a worrying increase in dengue cases, with 635 confirmed cases and 7,885 suspected cases registered in the last week, according to the Ministry of Health report. The disease continues to spread in the country, raising public health concerns.

According to PAHO, as of September 16, Nicaragua registered 94,576 suspected cases of dengue, the highest number in Central America. Confirmed cases were 2,797, with 12 classified as severe dengue.
