Newfoundland and Labrador has recorded four new cases of COVID-19 since Tuesday, all in the Eastern and Central health regions.
The number was released in a statement this afternoon.
The total for the province now stands at 232. This number includes two recent deaths, and 74 people who have now recovered from the disease...

Newfoundland and Labrador has had its third death from COVID-19.

Just a few hours after the province announced four new cases of COVID-19 — the fourth straight day of single-digit increases — at its daily briefing, it released a statement saying a 65-year-old man with pre-existing health conditions died Thursday afternoon in the Eastern Health region.

He had been admitted to hospital from his home.

Earlier Thursday, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, the province's chief medical officer, said the new cases were found in the Eastern and Central Health regions, bringing Newfoundland and Labrador's total to 236...

There are two new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador.

According to a news release from the provincial government, the new cases are both in the Eastern Health region, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 241.

By region, there are 226 cases in the Eastern Health region, eight cases in the Central Health region, six cases in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region and one case in the Western Health region.

Six people are in hospital, with two in intensive care. In all, 4,726 people have been tested for the virus, with 4,485 testing negative, and 120 people have recovered from the virus...

There is one new case of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador Sunday.

In a news release, the provincial government said the new case is in the Eastern Health region.

The new case brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the province to 242. Of those cases, 227 are in the Eastern Health region.

There are eight cases in the Central Health region, one case in the Western Health region and six in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region...

Two new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador were announced Monday, as Health Minister John Haggie tightened restrictions on workers in the long-term care system.

Haggie said long-term care workers can now only work on a single site, and must remain working there to the exclusion of other sites for the duration of the pandemic.

Last week, N.L. reported its first case of COVID-19 in a long-term care setting, with a patient at a facility in St. Lawrence, on the Burin Peninsula.
