Ramona K. Crall
Ramona K. Crall, age 53, of Carrollton passed away Nov. 6, 2009, in Mercy Medical Center following complications of the swine flu.
Born in New Philadelphia, O., on Oct. 20, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Barb Calai. After completing her formal education at New Philadelphia High School, she was employed at CMA in Strasburg as a laborer. From there, she greatly enjoyed caring for residents at Carrollton nursing facilities. Most recently, Ramona was a nanny.
Throughout her lifetime, she loved caring for others, especially her family. She was also an avid pet lover.
Ramona will be deeply missed by her two sons, Wilson (fiance�, Teia Lane) May of Fredrick, Md., and Chris May of Carrollton; her sister, Annie (Alvin) DeNoon of Maryland; her brother, Pete Calai of New Philadelphia; her half-sister, Betty Calai of Massillon; her grandson, Devin Lane of Maryland; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews complete her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half-brother, Dick Calai.
A private graveside service and inurnment celebrating Ramona's life will be held at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia, O., on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009.

None of the Ohio deaths reported since November 6th have been reported in Tuscarawas County, which is where New Philadelphia is located. So, the appears to be a new death.
