CONCORD ? The number of flu-related deaths in New Hampshire has risen to 16 adults, a state health official said Tuesday.

The number of adult influenza-related deaths reported to the state was at 14 last Friday.
Beth Daly, chief of infectious disease surveillance for the New Hampshire?s Division of Health and Human Services, said two more deaths have since been reported to the state since then.

Daly said the fact that two more deaths have been reported to the state doesn?t necessarily mean that they occurred within the past several days.
