NEW DELHI: With the number of dengue cases on the rise in the Capital, Delhi Health Minister Yoganand Shastri on Tuesday instructed schools to educate children about dengue and also explain ways to control breeding of mosquitoes in their areas.

Two hundred cases of dengue have been reported in the city so far, of which 64 were reported this past week.

Of these, 32 cases were from Delhi, while the others were reported from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and other States.

Mr. Shastri emphasised the need for regular fogging in the affected areas and also directed the MCD staff to be more vigilant. He also asked the MCD to give special attention to slum clusters.
