New Case Of H1N1 Reported In Clark County

LAS VEGAS -- While the number of new cases is rare, the Southern Nevada Health District is warning residents that the threat of the H1N1 virus has not subsided.

There was one new case of H1N1 reported for the week that ended March 20. Health officials said the total number of cases has reached 3,492 since last summer.

Vaccination clinics are open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at public health centers around the valley. Inhaled and injected versions of the H1N1 shot are still available.

In addition, there will be a community clinic Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Las Vegas Woman?s Expo inside the Red Rock Resort.
