I can't find three new infected cases in the Netherlands in this report from ECDC that brings the total to 6. Where did you read that?

ECDC changed their report, apparently someone corrected it.

The total of confirmed case in the Netherlands still is 3.

STOCKHOLM, May 15 (Xinhua) -- A total of 12 new A/H1N1 flu cases have been reported in Europe within the past 24 hours, health officials said Friday.

Seven new cases were confirmed in Britain, three in the Netherlands and one each in Poland and Belgium, the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control said in its daily situation report.

Eight of the new cases include a history of travel to Mexico or the United States and the other four, all from Britain, were linked to previously confirmed cases.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases of the A/H1N1 flu virus in the EU (European Union) and EFTA (European Free Trade Association) increased to 234, the ECDC said. Spain was the leader with 100 cases while Britain was second with 78, the ECDC said.

The ECDC publishes a daily situation report about A/H1N1 flu cases in the EU and EFTA countries based on official information from these countries.

Xinhua copied the same uncorrected message from ECDC, because ECDC remains at 3 confirmed cases in the Netherlands untill now, and there is no corfirmation in the Dutch media.

June 4 | Two new patients with New Influenza A (H1N1)

In two Dutch is New Influenza A (H1N1) is adopted. It is a 25-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman. They do not contact.

Both came from the United States. They are now under treatment and make it good. Close contacts are identified and receive treatment if necessary.

The total number of patients in the Netherlands, referring to six.

Again in Dutch that they have the Mexican flu. Four people have the New Influenza A (H1N1). This RIVM published Friday.

Three of the patients had the flu in the United States. A person came from Mexico and the Dominican Republic. The four are under treatment and make it right or to the better hand.

The total number of patients with the Mexican flu in the Netherlands, referring to ten.

Swine flu cases rise to 30

The number of people in the Netherlands infected with swine flu rose to 30 on Wednesday, following the discovery of eight new cases.

Six people have been infected in the Netherlands itself. The rest had been in either Mexico or the US, the national health institute RIVM said.

Most of those with the disease in the Netherlands have already recovered, the RIVM said.

Swine flu hits schools in Amsterdam, Woerden

The total number of infections has grown to 61 since the first case was reported in April.

Amsterdam – New swine flu infections were reported in two primary schools in the Netherlands over the weekend.

One of the patients is a seven-year-old girl who fell ill last Thursday. The local health authorities established on Friday that the girl was suffering from the A(H1N1) swine flu virus.

The girl is reported to have contracted the virus from her mother, according to a local television station, AT5. The mother's infection traces back to a colleague.

There is a chance that other children who attend the Amsterdam-area school could be infected. The school has announced it will stay open as usual, but is calling for parents to be on their guard.

A classmate suffering from flu symptoms is being examined, and the results are expected on Monday evening.

Another primary school in the town of Woerden, near Utrecht, confirmed on Sunday that a father who accompanied pupils on a school trip was suffering from swine flu.

The local health authority examined students who had been in close contact with the man, and found that one of them had contracted the virus. The school has asked parents of children who went on the trip to keep the students home from school for a few days.

Currently there are 61 confirmed infections of the A(H1N1) virus. Many more new infections were found last week through the GGD, a municipal health organization. Thirty-three of the cases were contracted in foreign countries, and 28 were infected within the Netherlands, according to RIVM, a public health institute.

One patient is in intensive care. The others have recovered or are currently on medication.
