KATHMANDU, July 12: The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) has urged the public to remain on high alert as heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is forecast across several parts of the country on Sunday and Monday.
According to a notice issued by the authority on Saturday, based on forecasts from the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely on Sunday and Monday in a few hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in one or two places in the Tarai of Madhesh, Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
