KATHMANDU, AUG 06 - Tests performed at the National Public Health Laboratory have confirmed that the deadly H5N1 strain of the bird flu virus has not infected any human, dispelling fears that the virus might have infected the humans.
The Epidemiology and Disease Control Division had collected sputum samples from 11 different people from the bird-flu infected area.
