LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department reported on Monday the first human case of West Nile virus in Lancaster County so far this season.

Mosquitoes have also tested positive for the virus locally. LLCHD urges residents to continue to take precautions against WNV.​..​

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Douglas County Health Department has confirmed the first two cases of West Nile Virus in the county this season.
