A survey of microorganisms in the air in 33 operating room, recovery room in 13 hospitals (BV) in the province's recent City Institute of Hygiene and Public Health shows that ratio does not standard (standard room based on Merck's 2009 surgery on the total number of microorganisms from 10-200cfu/m3) up to 78.8%.

According to Nguyen Quoc Tuan MSc - Institute of Hygiene and Public Health City, on the results of a survey conducted in 13 hospitals, including hospitals under the Ministry of Health (Cho Ray Hospital, Thong Nhat), Ho Chi Minh City hospital under the Department of Health (From Du, 1 Children, Nguyen Tri Phuong, An Binh, Binh Dan, Nhan Dan Gia Dinh Hospital district 10) and private hospitals (FV, Van Hanh, Hoan My, Chao'an).

The air samples in the operating room and recovery room are taken by specialist equipment MAS 100 by Merck, which is then analyzed targets only for hospital infections, including: total number of aerobic bacteria, spores mold, Streptococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa in environmental health science at the Institute of Hygiene and Public Health City.
