A 63-year-old woman in St. Anthony is the province?s third victim from H1N1 virus.

Health Minister Jerome Kennedy expressed his condolences and sympathy to the woman?s family and friends during a media briefing this afternoon at Confederation Building.

Kennedy said she died overnight and had multiple underlying health conditions.

In central Newfoundland last weekend, a 36-year-old woman died from H1N1 and a 40-year-old man died Wednesday. Both were also said to have underlying medical conditions.

The minister said the province has enough vaccine to continue its vaccinations for school children and other identified risk groups Monday and Tuesday.

?I?m informed today during our briefing with the regional health authorities that we still have vaccine left in all areas of the province. So, the identified groups will still continue to be immunized over the next number of days,? Kennedy said.

He said people can check the various health region websites and school board web sites for more information.

By Tuesday, Kennedy said, he expects to be in a position to announce the next groups to be immunized. He said the province would prefer to be able to offer the vaccine to everyone, but is limited by the limited supply of vaccine available from the federal government.
