The ABC coverage says that a responding firefighter got ill, too.
Here is some information from the parents via yourhoustonnews.com They say that the students were treated for chemical inhalation and some parents said high levels of toxins were found in the students blood. One showed discharge papers that showed treatment for carbon monoxide poisoning and the student was told to return for followup. I wonder if they could have been near a power generator?
Though whoever did air testing maintains that no toxins were found in the environment, the school is reported to be paying for medical bills.
