Dengue fever claims four lives in Yangon

Four people died of dengue in Yangon Region in the first five months of the year, according to the regional Health Department.
Records showed 247 people were treated at government hospitals in the region for dengue fever from January 1 to May 23, including the four who died.

YANGON, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar has registered 4,121 dengue infections with 32 deaths over first six months of this year, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports on Monday.

From Jan. 1 to July 11, Myanmar saw a decline in number of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever infection cases compared to the corresponding period of previous years, the release said...
