قدم 7 نواب في مجلس الشعب بلاغات عاجلة إلي محمود نصر الدين علام وزير الري والموارد المائية و أمين أباظة وزير الزراعة والمهندس ماجد جورج وزير البيئة ود.حاتم الجبلي وزير الصحة يطالبون فيها بتحرك حكومي عاجل لحماية الثروة السمكية ضد أخطار التلوث بأنفلونزا الخنازير وأنفلونزا الطيور.
أكد النواب في بيانات عاجلة ومن بينهم علي فتح الباب ومصطفي بكري وحيدر بغدادي وإبراهيم الجعفري وسعد خليفة ود.طلعت مطاوع ود.جمال الزيني أن حالات من الإهمال الصارخ تهدد الثروة السمكية بالتسمم نتيجة إلقاء البعض لفضلات الخنازير بعد الذبح أو الإعدام وكذلك الطيور والدواجن النافقة في النيل والمزارع السمكية وهو ما يزيد من احتمالات إصابة الإنسان بالتسمم والفيروسات القاتلة من خلال تناول الأسماك.
دعا النواب إلي إجراء تعديل تشريعي عاجل لقانون البيئة لحماية النيل من التلوث بفرض قانون الطوارئ علي مرتكبي تلك الجرائم وأيضا تشديد العقوبات إلي السجن المشدد الذي لا يقل عن 15 عاماً حال ضبطه وهو يلقي فضلات الحيوانات والطيور النافقة في مجري نهر النيل.
طالب النواب الحكومة بالتنسيق مع السلطات الأمنية لنشر قوات اضافية من قوات خفر السواحل لضبط ومكافحة عمليات إلقاء المخلفات وتكليف عاملين متخصصين في التخلص من النفايات وبقايا ذبح وجثث الخنازير التي يتم إعدامها بطريقة صحية آمنة وتشديد الرقابة الأمنية والصحية علي مواقع وأماكن الذبح للخنازير وأيضا مخلفات ذبح وتنظيف الدواجن والطيور لاستبعاد خطر إلقائها في مجري النيل والمزارع السمكية.
أشار النواب في البيانات العاجلة إلي اتخاذ الإجراءات المائية لقطاع الثروة السمكية من قبل الجهات الرقابية علي المزارع السمكية بعد أن حذر خبراء الاقتصاد الزراعي من انتقال مرضي أنفلونزا الطيور والخنازير من الأسماك بسبب اعتماد بعض أصحاب المزارع علي فضلات الخنازير والدواجن في غذاء الأسماك.
أكد نواب البرلمان أن مثل هذه الممارسات الخاطئة من قبل أصحاب المزارع تؤدي إلي تأكيد مخاوف انتقال أنفلونزا الطيور والخنازير للأسماك موضحين أن أصحاب هذه المزارع ألقوا مخلفات بالفعل لاستخدامها علفاً للأسماك لرخص ثمنها عن الأعلاف الأخري المخصصة لأسماك المزارع بصفة خاصة.
أكد النواب أن عدداً كبيراً من أصحاب المزارع السمكية يعتمدون علي مواد غير آمنة في تغذية الأسماك موضحين أن تلاعب أصحاب المزارع السمكية ورغبتهم في التوفير سيؤدي إلي خسائر فادحة من الثروة السمكية مطالبين بتكثيف الحملات الرقابية أيضا علي كل من المصانع المنتجة لعلف الأسماك والمزارع السمكية وحذروا من استخدام فضلات الخنازير والدواجن في تغذية الأسماك للحيلولة دون انتقال العدوي. 7
