AN MP called for a review of the swine flu vaccine after a three-year-old Birmingham girl died just two days after developing the deadly H1N1 virus.

Labour MP Ann Coffey submitted an early day motion for debate in the House of Commons.

It said: ?This House deeply regrets the tragic death of Lana Ameen; extends its deepest sympathies to her family; notes that Lana was not in one of the at-risk groups that would have indicated a requirement for vaccination; and calls on the Secretary of State for Health to review all the available medical expert advice on the vaccination to ensure that in the future there are no more tragic deaths.?...

A DAD has hit out at health chiefs after his baby, who suffers from chest infections, was denied a swine flu vaccination.

James Earle, aged 31, says 15-month-old son Billy should be eligible for the ?6 jab because he has suspected asthma and has even been provided with a tiny inhaler.

But those aged under three cannot be diagnosed so Billy?s GP, based at Penketh Health Centre, refused to give him the injection as he was not in the official ?at risk? group....
