Over 50 people in Orissa suffer food poisoning

Bhubaneswar, Oct 17 (IANS) More than 50 people, including women and children, fell sick after eating rice at a religious festival in a village in Orissa?s Mayurbhanj district, an official said Saturday.
The people ate rice during a religious ritual at Tulsibani village Friday night, some 300 km from here.


?We have sent a team of doctors to treat the villagers,? district medical officer K.C. Mohanty told IANS.
