Gallatin County woman dies from Hantavirus

BOZEMAN - A Gallatin County woman has died after contracting Hantavirus, according to the Gallatin City-County Health Department.

The woman, identified as 20 year old RheaLynn Baxter, is the tenth person reported to have died from Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome in Montana since 1993.

A post on her Facebook page from May 8th says she was admitted to the hospital in Bozeman and was discharged with what she thought was a "nasty virus."
