A child is in intensive care in London with monkeypox, according to reports. As public health officials gear up to announce more cases of the disease across the UK on Monday (May 23), the news comes of one particularly worrying case in London - reportedly a child who is being treated for monkeypox in intensive care, according to the Guardian.
In an update on the UK's effort to contain the outbreak, the newspaper described : "Reports have said that one of the UK cases is a child who is in intensive care in London with the disease."
