Another 264 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova, of which 3 in Transnistria.
Total tests performed on this day - 1548, of which primary - 1247 and repeated - 301.
The balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 9511 cases.
Of the total number of cases registered on this day, 25 are employees of the medical system: doctors - 7, nurses - 11, auxiliary staff - 7.
Another 210 people were treated. To date, 5,450 people have been treated.
MSMPS informs about the registration of other deaths caused by COVID-19:
Death 329: 65-year-old woman from Bălți. Hospitalized on May 30, at the Balti Clinical Hospital. Comorbidities: cerebral edema, hypertension, obesity gr. III.
Death 330: 78-year-old man from Straseni district. Interned on May 19, at the Institute of Emergency Medicine. Comorbidities: hypertension, hypertensive heart disease, hypoxic and discirculatory mixed encephalopathy gr. III.
Death 331: 71-year-old man from Cahul district. Admitted on May 5, to the Institute of Emergency Medicine. Comorbidities: hypertensive heart disease chronic bronchopneumonia, diabetes, obesity gr. III.
To date, 9807 cases of infection with the new Coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Moldova, of which 1052 in Transnistria.
In the last 24 hours, within the COVID-19 Center in Chisinau, 124 suspects were hospitalized at COVID-19.
Health status of infected persons: 305 serious condition (of which 20 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus), 775- medium severity, other patients in satisfactory condition.
To date, 1784 cases of infection have been confirmed among health system employees, including: doctors-430, pharmacists-21, nurses-703, janitors-96, support staff-534 people.
Another 59 people were treated and discharged. A total of 5,597 people were healed.

Death 355: 69-year-old woman from Falesti district. Hospitalized on May 29, at the Balti Clinical Hospital. Comorbidities: hypertension, chronic anemia, obesity, diabetes.
Death 356: 72-year-old woman from Bălți municipality. Hospitalized on May 31, at the Balti Clinical Hospital. Comorbidities: cerebral edema, cardiomyopathy of mixed etiology, diabetes mellitus, hypertension.
Death 357: 65-year-old man from Chisinau. Hospitalized on June 2, at the Republican Clinical Hospital. Comorbidities: hypertension, diabetes, obesity.
Death 358: 63-year-old man from Ceadir-Lunga district. Hospitalized on May 30, at the Republican Clinical Hospital. Comorbidities: hypertension, diabetes, morbid obesity.
Death 359: 74-year-old woman from Straseni district. Hospitalized on May 28, at the Republican Clinical Hospital. Comorbidities: mixed heart disease, diabetes, hepatitis of viral etiology, hypertension.
