The Springfield-Greene County Health Department says that an infected person from Florida who later found out they had measles passed through the Springfield-Branson National Airport on Tuesday, Jan. 6, and the health department is cautioning people who might have been exposed.
A health department press release did not state the age of the infected person or their current health status.
People who were at the airport from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. are potentially at risk for developing measles from exposure to this person, according to the release.
Anyone at the airport during this timeframe should monitor for symptoms of measles for 21 days. Symptoms would be expected to develop January 13-27...
