St. Louis (KSDK) - A highly contagious, relatively harmless condition is sending the unsuspecting parents of many children to the emergency room these days.

Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease is a virus. Symptoms include fever, blisters, and a rash.

Stefanee Keth is a pediatric nurse practitioner at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center.
