No PCR and/or culture confirmed cases have been reported for week 45. Rapid tests indicate Influenza A & B.

The state ILI rate of 1.22% in week 45, is below Missouri’s ILI baseline of 2.5%.
P&I deaths have been above the 5-year median in weeks 40-45. Season-to-date: 467; last year: 408
The NW & SW districts have increased influenza compared with their 5-year median.

% hospitalized for ILI: The 65 and older age group has decreased to 5.48% in Week 2; this is the 2nd consecutive week there has been a decrease for this age group. The 5-14 age group has increased to 4.41% in Week 2; this is the 2nd consecutive week there has been an increase in this age group.
