Jackson Co AND Kansas City did NOT report (This is the area I am in, and from what I understand, hospital ER's are packed) Several other areas, including St. Louis, did not report. Consequently, the percentages went down, when I believe they may have gone up.

The proportion of ILI patients seen in Boone, Callaway, Cole, Howell, Pettis, Phelps, and Saline counties is
significantly higher than the state proportion of 8.35%. The cause is unknown at this time."

Reporting by the Missouri Outpatient ILI Surveillance Network (ILINet) shows ILI moving up again in week 47.

The weekly percent for emergency dept visits in week 5 is 2.3%, a slight increase from 2.0% the previous week, and below the ESSENCE ILI threshold of 4.4%.

ILI: 3.92%. This is the second consecutive week the rate has been above Missouri?s baseline of 2.47%

Number of cases increasing.
Hospitalizations: The 65 and older age group is at 6.6% in Week 9. This is above both the 5-14 age group of 3.2% and the 0-4 age group of 3.9%.

P&I: Again, not available at this time. A new system was implemented February 2010.
No school closings reported.
