Another Minnesota water park linked to waterborne disease
Another water park in Minnesota has been linked to the intestinal disease cryptosporidiosis.

Minnesota Department of Health officials said a case of the waterborne disease has been connected to the Lodge at Brainerd Lakes. State epidemiologist Trisha Robinson said the lodge has worked with the department's environmental health officials and highly chlorinated the water park. The pool was closed Monday and was scheduled to reopen Thursday.

Earlier this week, the Health Department linked cases of the parasitic disease to the Edgewater Resort and Water Park in Duluth. The resort's owners closed the operation and disinfected the park before opening again.
