* Influenza-like illness visits to outpatient clinics involved in our Sentinel Provider Network remained low.
* Nationally, a slight increase in influenza A /H3N2 infections has been detected this summer. It is normal to see some influenza during the summer months. Although activity remains low, it is important for providers to consider influenza as a diagnosis when patients present with acute respiratory illness. Minnesota has not yet detected any domestically acquired influenza A/H3N2 cases.
