Muscat: With 64 confirmed cases of H1N1 bird flu infection reported in the Sultanate of Oman in April 2014, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said on Thursday that it is closely monitoring the outbreak of the disease.
An official at the Ministry of Health said that the number of people infected with H1N1 stood at 64 in April, of which two deaths were recorded. "This figure includes some minor cases which did not require treatment and others admitted to hospitals for receiving medical care. We are following the disease carefully and there is no reason to panic," the official said...
