Complete genome sequence of BLRI-developed inactivated avian influenza A/H9N2 vaccine strain in Bangladesh

The H9N2 Avian influenza virus is widely distributed and is responsible for significant economic losses in the global poultry industry. An A/H9N2 inactivated vaccine has been developed from the local circulating strain A/chicken/Bangladesh/NRL-H9-1767/2022(H9N2). The local isolate belongs to the G5.7 lineage. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute-developed A/H9N2 vaccine strain.
