Flu virus at Masonic Pathways keeps some residents in their rooms for 48 hours

Masonic Pathways in Alma has a flu virus going around and have asked residents with the virus to remain in their rooms for 48 hours.

About 40 people of the 172 in the residence appear to have the virus in the main residential center Friday, said Vickie Johnson, Masonic Pathways spokeswoman.

Visitors are being asked to check with officials first before visiting family or friends.
